Information on Mancaversa:
It is a seaside resort in Taviano located between Torre Suda and Punta Pizzo, the Marina di Mancaversa boasts a coastline of approximately 2 km characterized by a low and rocky cliff in which sandy coves are insinuated bathed by the Ionian sea, clear and transparent.
The name Mancaversa could derive from "versante mancino" of Gallipoli, in reference to the location on the left of the Pearl of the Ionian. The rocky beach is mainly made up of low and flat rocks, easily walkable to the shore. There is no shortage here and there, in addition several kiosks offer refreshment on the seashore. Rich in marine flora and fauna, the seabed is all to be discovered by fans of diving and underwater fishing. The marina of Mancaversa also has a small sandy beach about 300 meters long known as "Mare dei cavalli" where once the locals used to bring their horses to wash them.
